By Phone: Call 800-367-2832, Option 2. Follow the prompts to make a credit/debit card or bank draft payment.
By Web: Enroll in the Member Account Portal using your CVEC account number found on your bill.
Payment Kiosks: You can pay your bill 24/7 at any CVEC office location using Payment Kiosks. Payments can be made using credit/debit cards, checks, or cash (no change is given). Read more about CVEC Payment Kiosks here.
ACH Automatic Bank Draft: You can have your payment drafted from your checking account each month. You will receive a monthly bill stating your charges and the date the funds will be drafted. Download the sign-up form here. Complete and return to CVEC, PO Box 247, Lovingston, VA 22949, with a voided check.
By Mail: Send check to CVEC, Department 1340, PO Box 2153, Birmingham, AL 35287-1340. This is the bank payment processing center for CVEC. If you mail your payment to CVEC, drop it in the mailbox 7-10 days before your due date to be sure we receive it on time. Don’t trust that it will be delivered by mail overnight or even in a couple of days!
In Person: You can pay your bill by check or cash in person .Because of privacy issues, CVEC does not process credit or debit card payments in our member service locations. You can always use a card account online or by phone.

CVEC offers electronic payments through a payment processor integrated with our Member Information and Billing System Provider, Southeastern Data Cooperative (SEDC).
To make a payment online access your account through the secure member web portal, . From there you can view your usage, your previous bills, make a one-time payment, or set up recurring payments on your electric bill.
Once you have completed your transaction, you will receive an email confirmation and your CVEC account records will be updated. If you are making this payment to restore service or to avoid an imminent disconnection for non-payment, please contact CVEC by phone to alert us of your payment.
Although we now offer the convenience of online transactions, you may still contact one of our member service representatives any time you have a question about your bill by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 800-367-2832, Option 0.
CVEC now offers a Prepaid option on residential accounts. We were one of the first electric cooperatives in the Commonwealth to receive permission from the State Corporation Commission to offer this members service. For details of this option, visit our
