Outdoor Lighting

Many Co-op members select a dusk-to-dawn lighting option, also known as an Outdoor Light.

Attached to a wooden utility pole, these lights are commonly appreciated whether in the farmyard or backyard.

CVEC also offers decorative lighting options that are commercial, functional, and attractive residential choices.

Pay one monthly rate after installation and your Co-op takes care of the rest.

Benefits

Contact CVEC to express interest and discuss which existing transformer pole that the outdoor light should be installed on.
Submit the Residential Street Light Application form (below) or download the printable Residential Street Light Application (PDF).
Complete the application, including make a fixture selection.

Receives completed application and enters a service order for the outdoor light to be installed.
Service Technician makes a site visit and installs the outdoor light.
CVEC adds outdoor light service to account and the charge will be added to future bills.

Contact CVEC to express interest and discuss whether you would like the outdoor light installed on a new pole.
Submit the Residential Street Light Application form (below) or download the printable Residential Street Light Application (PDF).
Complete the application selecting an outdoor light fixture and include any notes regarding the location of the new pole and which direction the light should face.
Once the sketch, cost letter, and installation costs are received, the member will schedule installation is the Operations Superintendent.

Create a work order with our Engineering Department.
A Staking Technician will make a site visit to confirm fixture and location for outdoor light.
A sketch and installation cost estimated based upon the length of service wire and any necessary equipment will be sent to the member to sign and return.
Once the sketch, cost letter, and installation costs are received, and the member has scheduled installation with the Operations Superintendent, a CVEC crew will deliver and install the pole and light fixture.

Note: CVEC-certified excavators should be hired to bury the wire and fill the trench prior to the CVEC installation, saving time and money.
