Central Virginia Electric Cooperative held its 88th Annual Meeting on September 17, 2025. Members were invited to attend in-person at CVEC’s Headquarters in Arrington, or online via livestream. Those in attendance heard important updates about the Cooperative, including highlights from the past year, upcoming projects, and a look at how data centers will impact the future of power supply.
Through mail-in proxy ballots and in-person voting, members re-elected Frank Baber (South District) and Francis Caruccio (West District) to serve three-year terms. In addition, B.J. Berglund, who had served as Interim Director since Roberta Harlowe’s retirement, was elected to represent the East District for a three-year term.
Before the meeting adjourned, member-owners were given the opportunity to ask questions and engage with Cooperative leadership. We thank each member and guest for joining us to celebrate progress, reflect on accomplishments, and strengthen the cooperative spirit that keeps us moving forward.
