We're proud to announce that CVEC VP of Operations Jay Palmer and VP of Reliability and Field Engineering Mark Moreno have successfully completed the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association's (NRECA) Management Internship Program (MIP) — a four-week intensive program crafted for emerging senior leaders in the electric cooperative space.
The MIP combines real-life case studies, strategic insights, and mentorship to sharpen the leadership and decision-making skills of those who will help guide the future of our industry.
As Jay Palmer shared: “Everyone takes away different things based on your current role within the cooperative you work at. The most valuable part for me was the cooperative finance classes and the networking that takes place. It was amazing how much we learned about other cooperatives and the methods they use to achieve the same results.”
