Francis Caruccio, PE has served as a Director for CVEC since June 2024. He is a resident of Albemarle County, living on a small farm in White Hall with his wife Julie, and two children attending University of Virginia, daughter, Evalina and son, Francesco.
Mr. Caruccio is the Administrator of Facilities Planning & Operations for UVA Health in Charlottesville.
Francis holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and is a licensed Professional Engineer. He is a Certified Healthcare Facility Manager by the American Hospital Association, is LEED AP BD+C accredited and, is also a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), the American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE), and the International Facility Management Association (IFMA).
Francis serves on the Albemarle County Fire Prevention Board of Appeals/Local Board of Building Code Appeals and is appointed to the Charlottesville-Albemarle Joint Airport Commission.
