Central Virginia Electric Cooperative (“CVEC”) may offer text message (SMS) communications for purposes such as outage notifications, service updates, account-related alerts, and other operational communications.
Consent to Receive Messages
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages from CVEC, you consent to receive SMS messages related to your account, electric service, outage restoration, and other cooperative services.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your account activity, service events, and communication preferences. Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan.
Opt-Out Instructions
